Fischer, Colleagues Aim to Overturn Administration’s EV Tax Credit Rule

“President Biden wants to prop up America’s transition to EVs by keeping Chinese graphite flowing into the United States. As usual, China will profit richly off the administration’s ‘green’ energy dreams. If Joe Biden wants to force EVs on Americans, he should at least find another source of graphite,” said Senator Fischer.

Fischer Presses Senior Naval Officials on Need for Sea-Launched Cruise Missile Program, Importance of Bolstering U.S. Domestic Industrial Base

"Mr. Secretary and Admiral, I am deeply concerned that the Navy did not request any funding for SLCM-N in their base budget or in the Navy's unfunded priorities list letter. This is a stark contrast to NNSA, which did include a robust funding request for development of the SLCM-N, the warhead in their unfunded priorities list. Although the production decision remains years away, let me be clear: we expect the Navy to take all actions necessary to develop this missile so that if, if a decision is made to move to production, we can do so without delay. And I expect to see this program included in your base budgets moving forward," said Senator Fischer.

I look forward to seeing this bill signed into law,” said Senator Fischer.

Fischer, Ricketts Welcome USPS Pause in Changes to Mail Delivery Network

For now, no changes should occur at the North Platte facility. This pause should allow more time for the plan and its impact to be studied. I encourage USPS to take the next year to listen to people in communities like North Platte and to incorporate their feedback into any changes that occur after January of 2025,” said Senator Fischer.
